Child Dose

Indication: Prevention of invasive disease caused by Haemophilus influenzae type b
Age: Pediatric (2, 4, and 6 months of age)
Dose: Intramuscular Injection – 0.5 mL
Frequency: Three doses total (one dose each at 2, 4, and 6 months)
Note: Primary series. The first dose may be given as early as 6 weeks of age.
Indication: Prevention of invasive disease caused by Haemophilus influenzae type b
Age: Pediatric (15 through 18 months of age)
Dose: Intramuscular Injection – 0.5 mL
Frequency: once daily
Note: Booster dose.

  • Give intramuscularly
  • Inject in thigh or deltoid

This vaccine has a shelf life of 2 years provided that the packaging is integral and the product correctly stored. Do not use the product after the expiry date. This vaccine should be stored and transported at a temperature between 2°C and +8°C.
