Adult Dose

Indication: Adjunct to Type 2 diabetes mellitus
Age: Adult
Dose: Subcutaneous – 0.6 mg
Frequency: once daily
Duration: 1 week
Note: Initial dose is only to decrease gastrointestinal adverse effects and does not provide glycemic control. When initiating, consider reducing the dose of concomitantly administered insulin secretagogues (such as sulfonylureas) to reduce the risk of hypoglycemia.

Duration: at least 1 week
Note: Increase to this dose after 1 week of 0.6 mg/day.
