Adult Dose

Age: Adults
Condition: Dosage dependent upon age, weight and clinical condition
Dose: Intravenous Dextrose – Dose dependent upon age, weight and clinical condition
Note: Parenteral drug products should be inspected visually for particulate matter and discoloration prior to administration, whenever solution and container permit.
Age: Pediatric patients including neonates and low birth weight infants
Condition: Dosage and constant infusion rate must be selected with caution
Dose: Intravenous Dextrose – Dose dependent upon age, weight and clinical condition
Note: Increased risk of hyperglycemia/hypoglycemia. Parenteral drug products should be inspected visually for particulate matter and discoloration prior to administration, whenever solution and container permit.

Dose: Intravenous – Dose and constant infusion rate must be selected with caution by the physician
Note: The dose is dependent upon the age, weight and clinical condition of the patient. Dosage and constant infusion rate must be selected with caution in pediatric patients, particularly neonates and low birth weight infants, because of the increased risk of hyperglycemia/hypoglycemia.
