Adult Dose

Clinical InformationAdministration Information
Indication: Acute coronary syndrome
Age: Adult
Condition: For ST-elevation MI (STEMI), Age less than 75 years
Dose: Oral – 300 mg loading dose followed by 75 mg
Frequency: once daily
Duration: 14 days up to 12 months (if no bleeding)
Note: In combination with aspirin 75-325 mg once daily with or without thrombolytic.

May increase the risk of stomach and intestinal bleeding
Warfarin
May lead to increased warfarin levels, increasing the risk of bleeding
