Adult Dose

Indication: Attention deficit hyperactivity disorder
Age: Adult
Dose: Oral – Initially, 40 mg/day
Frequency: once daily
Note: may increase gradually after at least 7 days to 80 mg/day, up to 100 mg/day may be used after 2-4 weeks.

Child Dose

Indication: Attention deficit hyperactivity disorder
Age: Child: greater than 6 years
Dose: Oral – Initially, 0.5 mg/kg/day
Frequency: once daily
Note: May increase gradually to approximately 1.2 mg/kg/day. Maximum: 1.4 mg/kg or 100 mg, whichever is lower
Indication: Attention deficit hyperactivity disorder
Age: Child: greater than 6 years
Dose: Oral – Initially, 40 mg/day
Frequency: once daily
Duration: after at least 7 days
Note: May increase gradually to 80 mg/day, up to 100 mg/day may be used after 2-4 weeks
