Adult Dose

Indication: Major Depressive Disorder
Age: Adult
Dose: Oral – 50 mg
Frequency: once daily
Note: Doses up to 400 mg once daily have been studied and shown to be effective, but no additional benefit was observed with doses greater than 50 mg once daily.

Child Dose

Note: Not recommended

Renal Dose

Condition: Renal impairment: Creatinine Clearance 30-50 mL/min
Dose: 50 mg
Frequency: once daily
Condition: Renal impairment: Creatinine Clearance less than 30 mL/min or End Stage Renal Disease
Dose: 50 mg
Frequency: every other day
Note: Additional doses should not be given after dialysis

  • Take at same time daily
  • Take whole with fluid
