Adult Dose

Indication: Constipation
Age: Adults
Dose: Oral solution – 25 ml added to 100 ml of water
Frequency: once daily
Note: This may be increased to 2-3 doses of 25 ml daily (each 25 ml dose added to 100 ml of water) if required according to individual response.
Indication: Fecal Impaction
Age: Adults
Dose: Oral solution – 25 ml added to 100 ml of water
Frequency: 8 doses daily
Duration: course of treatment does not normally exceed 3 days

Child Dose

Indication: Constipation
Age: greater than 12 years
Dose: Oral solution – 25 ml added to 100 ml of water (total volume 125 ml)
Frequency: once daily
Note: This may be increased to 2-3 doses of 25 ml daily (each 25 ml dose added to 100 ml of water), if required according to individual response
Indication: Fecal Impaction
Age: greater than 12 years
Dose: Oral solution – 8 doses of 25 ml daily (each 25 ml dose added to 100 ml of water)
Duration: does not normally exceed 3 days
Administration
  • Mix with water as directed
  • Drink solution within 24 hours
