- menstrual irregularities
- diarrhoea
- vomiting
- psychosis or agitation
- Increased bone resorption and reduced bone mineral density
- especially in post-menopausal women
- elevated LFT
- Thyrotoxic crisis including convulsions
- cardiac arrhythmia
- heart failure
- coma
