Adult Dose

Indication: Status epilepticus
Condition: Loading Dose
Dose: Intravenous – 10-15 mg/kg or 15-20 mg/kg at 25-50 mg/min
Note: Administer intravenous slowly; not to exceed 50 mg/min
Indication: Status epilepticus
Condition: Maintenance
Dose: Intravenous – 100 mg
Frequency: every 6-8 hours as needed
Note: Administer intravenous slowly; not to exceed 50 mg/min

Note: if necessary may administer additional dose of 5-10 mg/kg 10 minutes after loading dose

Frequency: divided twice daily
