Adult Dose

Indication: Schizophrenia
Age: Adult
Condition: Immediate release
Dose: Oral – Day 1: 50 mg/day; Days 2-3: increased daily in increments of 25-50 mg to 300-400 mg by day 4
Frequency: every 12 hours on Day 1, every 8-12 hours on Days 2-3
Note: further adjustments can be made in increments of 25-50 mg every 12 hours at intervals greater than 2 days; Dosage range: 150-750 mg/day
Indication: Schizophrenia
Age: Adult
Condition: Extended release
Dose: Oral – Day 1: 300 mg/day
Note: subsequently, may be increased by up to 300 mg/day at intervals greater than 1 day; Maintenance (monotherapy): 400-800 mg/day; Patients who have discontinued therapy for greater than 1 week should have their dose retitrated following initiation of therapy; patients may reinitiate at their previous maintenance dose if discontinued therapy less than 1 week

Keep this medicine out of the sight and reach of children. Do not use this medicine after the expiry date which is stated on the blister pack and the carton. The expiry date refers to the last day of that month. Store in a cool and dry place away from light.
