Adult Dose

Clinical InformationAdministration Information
Age: Adult
Dose: Infusion – up to 100 drops/minute
Note: Dosage is dependent upon the age, weight and clinical condition of the patient as well as laboratory determinations.
Indication: Burn patients
Age: Adult
Dose: Injection – 4 mL/kg body weight/percentage of Body surface area burn
Frequency: Half of this within 8 hours, the remainder over 16 hours
Note: In burn patients the dose is according to the Parkland formula (e.g. for a 30 percentage Body surface area burn of a person having 60 kg body weight, 4 x 60 x 30 mL = 7200 mL would be required in 24 hours).

Age: Babies and children
Dose: Intravenous – 20 ml to 100 ml / kg
Frequency: 24 hours
