Indication: Moderate to severe acute pain Age: Adult |
Dose: Oral – Initially, 50 mg, 75 mg or 100 mg Frequency: every 4-6 hours Note: Initial dose depends on pain intensity. On day 1, a 2nd dose may be given 1 hour after the initial dose if pain relief is inadequate; subsequent doses may be given every 4-6 hours, adjusted according to response. Maximum dose: 700 mg on day 1, 600 mg daily on subsequent days. |
