Adult Dose

Indication: Organophosphorous Poisoning
Age: Adults
Dose: Intravenous Infusion – 1-2 g
Duration: 15-30 minute infusion
Note: Repeat a second dose of 1 g to 2 g may be indicated after about one hour if muscle weakness has not been relieved. Additional doses may be given every 10-12 hours if muscle weakness persists. Use with atropine, which affects muscarinic receptors; pralidoxime's actions most striking at nicotinic sites (increase muscle strength 10-40 minutes).
Indication: Organophosphorous Poisoning
Age: Adults
Condition: Fluid restricted patient
Dose: Intravenous Injection – 1 g
Note: Should be slowly given (over not less than 5 minutes) by intravenous injection, as 50 mg/ml solution in normal saline (e.g. 1 g in 20 ml).

Child Dose

Dose: Intravenous Infusion – 1-2 g
