Adult Dose

Indication: Acute oesophageal variceal haemorrhage
Age: Adult
Dose: Powder and solvent for solution for injection – Initially, 1-2 mg, then 1 mg
Frequency: every 4-6 hours
Duration: Maximum duration of treatment: 72 hours
Indication: Acute oesophageal variceal haemorrhage
Age: Adult
Dose: Solution for injection – Initially, 2 mg
Frequency: every 4 hours
Duration: Maintain until bleeding is controlled for 24 hours or up to maximum of 48 hours
Note: Subsequent doses may be reduced to 1 mg every 4 hours in patients weighing less than 50 kg or if adverse reaction occur
