Adult Dose

Indication: Rheumatic disorders

Dose: by mouth – 100-200 mg/day
Frequency: in 2-4 divided doses
Note: Maximum: 300 mg/day in divided doses.
Indication: Pain and inflammation

Dose: by mouth – 25-50 mg
Frequency: every 6-8 hours
Note: Maximum: 300 mg/day.

Renal Dose

Condition: Mild renal impairment
Dose: Dose – 50 mg
Frequency: once daily
Duration: Shortest possible duration
Note: Reduce initial dose. Avoid if possible or use with caution. The lowest effective dose should be used. Monitor renal function; sodium and water retention may occur and renal function may deteriorate, possibly leading to renal failure.
Condition: Moderate to severe renal impairment
