Adult Dose

Indication: Prophylaxis of postpartum haemorrhage
Age: Adult
Dose: Oral – 200 mcg
Frequency: 3-4 times daily
Duration: 2-7 days in the puerperium
Indication: Treatment and prophylaxis of postpartum and postabortal haemorrhage
Age: Adult
Dose: Intramuscular – 200 mcg
Frequency: May repeat every 2-4 hours
Note: Maximum 5 doses
