Adult Dose

Indication: Allergic conditions (Seasonal Allergic Rhinitis, Perennial Allergic Rhinitis, Chronic Urticaria), Relief of symptoms from colds, urticaria, angioedema, anaphylactic reactions, pruritus, allergic conjunctivitis, sneezing, rhinorrhea, nasal pruritus, ocular pruritus, tearing, and redness of the eyes
Age: Adult
Dose: Oral – 5-10 mg
Frequency: once daily
Note: depending on severity of symptoms; not to exceed 10 mg once daily. Most patients in clinical trials started at 10 mg.

Condition: Renal impairment
Dose: by mouth – Dose adjustment not necessary
Note: monitor for antihistaminic side effects
