Adult Dose

Dose: Oral – 50 mg
Frequency: once daily
Note: may increase by 50 mg every 4-7 days. Daily doses greater than 100 mg should be given in 2 divided doses. Max: 300 mg daily.

Child Dose

Dose: Oral – 25 mg
Frequency: once daily
Note: may increase by 25 mg every 4-7 days; Doses greater than 50 mg should be given in 2 divided doses; Reassess if no improvement after 10 weeks of treatment; Maximum: 200 mg daily

  • Can be taken with or without food
  • Take at same time each day
