Adult Dose

Indication: Rheumatoid arthritis
Age: Adult
Dose: Subcutaneous – 25 mg
Frequency: twice weekly at intervals of 3-4 days
Note: Discontinue treatment if no response after 6 months.

Child Dose

Age: greater than 2 years
Dose: Subcutaneous – 0.4 mg/kg
Frequency: twice weekly at intervals of 3-4 days
Note: maximum: 25 mg; Discontinue treatment if no response after 6 months or initial response is not maintained
Indication: Juvenile idiopathic arthritis
Age: greater than 2 years
Dose: Subcutaneous – 0.8 mg/kg
Frequency: once weekly
Note: maximum: 50 mg; Discontinue treatment if no response after 6 months or initial response is not maintained
