Adult Dose

Indication: Partial-onset seizures
Age: Adult
Dose: Oral – Initially 2 mg
Frequency: once daily at bedtime
Note: May be increased by increments of 2 mg (either weekly or every 2 weeks) to a maintenance dose of 4-8 mg daily, with 1 week interval between dose increases. Maximum dose: 12 mg daily.
Indication: Primary generalised tonic-clonic seizures
Age: Adult
Dose: Oral – Initially 2 mg
Frequency: once daily at bedtime
Note: May be increased by increments of 2 mg (either weekly or every 2 weeks) to a maintenance dose of 8 mg daily, with 1 week interval between dose increases. Then, may be further increased up to 12 mg daily.
