Adult Dose

Dose: Ophthalmic solution – 1-2 drops
Frequency: 2-3 times daily
Duration: up to 14 days
Indication: Conjunctival decongestant

Dose: Ophthalmic solution – 1-2 drops
Frequency: up to 4 times daily
Duration: 3-4 days unless directed

Child Dose

Age: Children (greater than 2 years of age)
Dose: Eye drop – 1 to 2 drops
Frequency: daily
Note: No specific studies are available in this patient group; for possible systemic effects, the dosage should exceed to 1 to 2 drops per day; the eye drop should not be used for longer periods than 14 days as this may cause rebound hyperemia and toxic follicular conjunctivitis
Age: Children (less than 2 years of age)
Dose: Eye drop
Note: Not to be used in children less than 2 years of age
