Adult Dose

Indication: Treatment of mild-to-moderate coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19)
Age: adults and pediatric patients greater than 12 years
Dose: Oral – 300 mg nirmatrelvir plus 100 mg ritonavir
Frequency: twice daily
Duration: 5 days
Note: Initiate as soon as possible after COVID-19 diagnosis and within 5 days of symptom onset. Hepatic impairment Mild or moderate (Child-Pugh Class A or B): No dosage adjustment required.

Child Dose

Age: pediatric patients (aged greater than 12 years)
Condition: testing positive for severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2) virus, and who are at high risk for progression to severe COVID-19, including hospitalization or death
Dose: Oral – 300 mg nirmatrelvir plus 100 mg ritonavir
Frequency: twice daily
Duration: 5 days
Note: by mouth (oral); Emergency use authorization issued; Initiate as soon as possible after COVID-19 diagnosis and within 5 days of symptom onset

Renal Dose

Condition: Renal impairment Mild (estimated Glomerular Filtration Rate greater than 60 to less than 90 mL/min)
Dose: Tablet – 300 mg nirmatrelvir plus 100 mg ritonavir
Note: No dosage adjustment required
Condition: Renal impairment Moderate (estimated Glomerular Filtration Rate greater than 30 to less than 60 mL/min)
Dose: Tablet – 150 mg nirmatrelvir plus 100 mg ritonavir
Frequency: twice daily
Duration: 5 days
Note: Decrease to this dose
