Adult Dose

Dose: Oral – 15 mg/kg/day
Frequency: divided every 12 hours
Duration: 10 days
Note: by mouth (oral); not to exceed 500 mg/dose; because of increased resistance to S Pneumoniae and H Influenzae, not routinely recommended as treatment option

Store in a cool and dry place, protected from light & moisture. The reconstituted suspension must be used within 7 days if kept at room temperature and within 14 days when stored in a refrigerator. Keep out of reach of children.
