Adult Dose

Indication: Susceptible infections
Age: Adult
Dose: by mouth – 400 mg
Frequency: once daily
Duration: 7-14 days
Indication: Uncomplicated gonorrhoea
Age: Adult
Dose: by mouth – 400 mg
Frequency: as a single dose

Child Dose

Clinical InformationAdministration Information
Indication: Bacterial conjunctivitis
Age: 1 year of age or older
Dose: Ophthalmic – 1 drop
Frequency: every 2 hours while awake (up to 8 times)
Duration: on Day 1
Note: maximum dose: 8 drops on Day 1
Indication: Bacterial conjunctivitis
Age: 1 year of age or older
Dose: Ophthalmic – 1 drop
Frequency: 2 to 4 times daily while awake
Duration: on Days 2 through 7

  • Can take with/without food
