Adult Dose

Indication: Cervical Cancer Prevention
Age: 9 to and including 14 years
Dose: Intramuscular Injection – 0.5 ml
Frequency: 2 doses given between 5 and 13 months after the first dose
Note: If the second vaccine dose is administered before the 5th month after the first dose, a third dose should always be administered. The necessity for a booster dose has not been established.
Indication: Cervical Cancer Prevention

Child Dose

Age: Girls below 9 years
Dose: Intramuscular Injection – Not recommended
Note: Not recommended for use in girls below 9 years of age
Indication: Cervical Cancer Prevention
Age: Children 9 to 14 years
Dose: Intramuscular Injection – 0.5 ml
Frequency: 2 doses
Note: The second dose given between 5 and 13 months after the first dose. If the second vaccine dose is administered before the 5th month after the first dose, a third dose should always be administered. Indicated for prevention of cervical precancers and cervical cancer associated with oncogenic HPV types 16 and 18.
Administration
  • Give in deltoid region
  • Do not give intravenously

Storage
Store refrigerated at 2 to 8°C. Do not freeze. Protect from light. Human Papillomavirus Bivalent should be administered as soon as possible after being removed from refrigeration.
