Adult Dose

Indication: Oropharyngeal Candidiasis
Dose: Oral – 200 mg
Frequency: once daily on Day 1
Note: Followed by 100 mg once daily. Treatment should be continued for at least 2 weeks to decrease likelihood of relapse

Child Dose

Age: Child
Dose: by mouth (oral) – 3–12 mg/kg/day
Frequency: every 24 hours
Note: maximum 600 mg/day
Age: Child
Condition: central nervous system fungal infections
Dose: by mouth (oral) – 800–1,000 mg/day
Note: used for some central nervous system fungal infections

Renal Dose

Age: Adult
Condition: Haemodialysis patients
Dose: Dosage – Usual dose
Frequency: Given after each session
Age: Adult
Condition: Renal impairment with Creatinine Clearance less than 50 ml/min and not receiving dialysis
Dose: Dosage – 50% of the usual dose
Note: For patients with Creatinine Clearance less than 50 ml/min and not receiving dialysis

  • Take with or without food
  • Take with full glass of water
