Adult Dose

Clinical InformationAdministration Information
Indication: Glioblastoma multiforme
Age: Adult
Condition: Concomitant phase with focal radiotherapy
Dose: Oral – 75 mg/m2
Frequency: once daily
Duration: 42 days
Note: Do not reduce dose during concomitant phrase but interrupt or discontinue therapy depending on toxicity. Continue if absolute neutrophil count (ANC) greater than 1.5x109/L, thrombocyte count greater than 100x109/L and Common Toxicity Criteria (CTC) non-haematological toxicity less than Grade 1 (except for alopecia, nausea and vomiting).
Indication: Glioblastoma multiforme

Condition: Monotherapy (Cycle 1) starting 4 weeks after concomitant phase
Dose: Oral – 150 mg/m2
Frequency: once daily
Duration: 5 days followed by a 23 day break (1 cycle)

Child Dose

Indication: Recurrent or progressive malignant gliomas
Age: greater than 3 years
Condition: Previously untreated with chemotherapy
Dose: Oral – 200 mg/m2
Frequency: once daily
Duration: for 5 days, followed by a 23 day break (1 cycle)
Indication: Recurrent or progressive malignant gliomas
Age: greater than 3 years
Condition: Previously treated with chemotherapy
Dose: Oral – 150 mg/m2
Frequency: daily
Duration: for 5 days followed by 23 day break (1 cycle)
Note: increased to 200 mg/m2 for the 2nd cycle if there is no haematological toxicity
Administration
  • Take on empty stomach
  • Take 1 hour before meals
