Adult Dose

Indication: Myasthenia gravis
Age: Adult
Dose: Oral – 30-120 mg
Frequency: in divided doses
Note: Up to a total daily dose of 0.3-1.2 g.
Indication: Paralytic ileus and postoperative urinary retention
Age: Adult
Dose: Oral – 60-240 mg
Frequency: daily.

Child Dose

Age: less than 6 yr
Dose: Oral – Initially, 30 mg
Frequency: repeated throughout the day
Note: usual total daily dose of 30-360 mg, with increments of 15-30 mg daily until a satisfactory response is obtained

Dose: Oral – Initially, 60 mg
Frequency: repeated throughout the day
Note: usual total daily dose of 30-360 mg, with increments of 15-30 mg daily until a satisfactory response is obtained

Renal Dose

Note: Lower initial dose may be needed, titrate to desired effect.
