Adult Dose

Indication: Susceptible infections
Age: Adult
Dose: Oral – 200 mg on day 1 followed by 100 mg
Frequency: once daily
Note: Day 1 can be given as a single or in divided doses.
Indication: Severe infections
Age: Adult
Dose: Oral – 200 mg
Frequency: once daily
Note: Maintain initial dose throughout the course of treatment.

Child Dose

Dose: by mouth (oral) – 2–4 mg/kg/day
Frequency: every 12 hours
