Indication: Primary keratoconjunctivitis and recurrent epithelial keratitis due to herpes simplex viruses Age: Adult |
Dose: Ophthalmic solution – 1% Frequency: Instill 1 drop into affected eye every 2 hours Duration: Until complete re-epithelialisation Note: Maximum: 9 drops daily. Reduce to 1 drop every 4 hours (Minimum 5 drops daily) for 7 days. Treatment should not exceed 21 days. |

Administration
- Apply one drop every 2 hours while awake
- Continue for 7 days

- Transient burning or stinging upon instillation
- irritation
- hyperemia
- palpebral oedema
- dry eye
- superficial punctate keratopathy
- epithelial keratopathy
- hypersensitivity reaction and increased intraocular pressure
