Child Dose

Indication: Iron-deficiency anaemia
Age: 6 to 12 years
Dose: Tablet – 1 tablet (65 mg elemental iron)
Frequency: once to three times daily depending on weight
Note: oral
Indication: Prevention of iron-deficiency anaemia
Age: 6 to 10 years
Dose: Tablet – 30 mg elemental iron and 250 mcg folic acid
Frequency: daily
Note: oral

  • Take with vitamin C-rich foods
  • Best on empty stomach
