Adult Dose

Indication: Hypertension
Age: Adult
Dose: Oral – Initially, 100 mg
Frequency: twice daily
Note: May increase gradually according to patients response to 200-400 mg twice daily. Maximum: 2.4 g/day in 2-4 divided doses.

Dose: Oral – Initially, 50-100 mg
Frequency: twice daily
Note: Maintenance: 100-200 mg twice daily.

Child Dose

Indication: Hypertensive Emergency
Dose: Continuous Intravenous Infusion – 0.4-1 mg/kg/hour
Note: Not to exceed 3 mg/kg/hour
