Adult Dose

Dose: Oral – 1 g
Frequency: 4 times daily
Duration: 1-2 weeks
Indication: Uncomplicated lower urinary tract infections (Long-term therapy)
Age: Adult
Dose: Oral – 2 g
Frequency: daily

Child Dose

Indication: Uncomplicated lower urinary tract infections
Age: greater than 3 months
Dose: Oral – 50 mg/kg daily
Frequency: in 4 equally divided doses
Indication: Uncomplicated lower urinary tract infections
Age: greater than 3 months
Condition: Long-term therapy
Dose: Oral – 30 mg/kg daily
Note: Reduce dose to 30 mg/kg daily

Renal Dose
