Adult Dose

Clinical InformationAdministration Information
Indication: Prevention of nausea and vomiting associated with highly emetogenic chemotherapy
Age: Adult
Dose: Oral Tablet – 24 mg
Frequency: once
Duration: 30 minutes before start of single-day chemotherapy
Indication: Prevention of nausea and vomiting associated with moderately emetogenic chemotherapy
Age: Adult
Dose: Oral Tablet – 8 mg
Frequency: administered 30 minutes before start of emetogenic chemotherapy, then a further dose after 8 hours of the first dose, then twice daily (every 12 hours)
Duration: 1-2 days after completion of chemotherapy

Child Dose

Clinical InformationAdministration Information
Indication: Moderate emetogenic cancer chemotherapy
Age: 4-11 years
Dose: Oral Tablet – 4 mg
Frequency: first dose 30 minutes before chemotherapy, then 4 and 8 hours after first dose, then three times daily (every 8 hours)
Duration: 1-2 days after completion of chemotherapy
Note: first dose should be taken before the start of chemotherapy
Indication: Prevention of nausea & vomiting associated with radiotherapy (Total body irradiation)
Age: greater than 12 years
Dose: Oral – 8 mg
Frequency: once daily
Note: 1-2 hours before each fraction of radiotherapy administered each day

Renal Dose

Note: Renal impairment: Dose adjustment not necessary
