Adult Dose

Indication: Acute bronchospasm
Age: Adult
Condition: Initiation
Dose: Oral – 2.5 mg
Frequency: three or four times daily
Indication: Acute bronchospasm

Condition: Maintenance
Dose: Oral – 5 mg
Frequency: three times daily
Note: While the patient is awake; reduce dose to 2.5 mg; Not to exceed 15 mg/Day

Child Dose

Indication: Acute bronchospasm
Age: less than 12 years
Dose: Oral – 0.05 mg/kg
Frequency: three times daily initially
Note: increase as needed, not to exceed 5 mg/day
Indication: Acute bronchospasm
Age: 12-15 years
Dose: Oral Tablet – 2.5 mg
Frequency: 3 times daily
Note: by mouth (oral); not to exceed 7.5 mg/day

Renal Dose
