Adult Dose

Indication: Suppression of allergic and inflammatory disorders
Age: Adult
Dose: Intramuscular – 20-80 mg
Note: administered via deep intramuscular injection into gluteal muscles
Indication: Symptomatic control for hay fever
Age: Adult
Dose: Intramuscular – 40-100 mg
Note: administered via deep intramuscular injection into gluteal muscles

Child Dose

Indication: Suppression of allergic and inflammatory disorders
Age: Child
Condition: As acetonide
Dose: Injection – initial 0.11 to 1.6 mg/kg/day
Frequency: in 3-4 divided doses
Note: deep intramuscular into gluteal muscle; Do not use in premature infants and infants of low birth weight as it contains benzyl alcohol.
Indication: Suppression of allergic and inflammatory disorders
Age: Child: 6-12 years
Dose: Injection – 0.03-0.2 mg/kg
Frequency: intramuscular every 1-7 days
Administration
  • For injection: Must be mixed with specified solutions
  • For intra-articular use: Requires proper medical supervision
