Adult Dose

Indication: Rheumatoid Arthritis
Age: Adult
Dose: Oral – 1 mg/kg/day
Frequency: initially in single daily dose or divided every 12 hours
Note: May be increased by 0.5 mg/kg/day after 6-8 weeks, then by 0.5 mg/kg/day every 4 weeks; not to exceed 2.5 mg/kg/day
Indication: Rheumatoid Arthritis
Age: Adult
Dose: Oral – Reduce daily dose by 0.5 mg/kg
Frequency: every 4 weeks
Note: Maintenance dose until the lowest effective dosage is reached

Child Dose

Indication: Juvenile Idiopathic Arthritis
Age: Juvenile
Dose: Oral – 1 mg/kg/day
Frequency: initially in single daily dose or divided every 12 hours
Note: by mouth (oral); may be increased by 0.5 mg/kg/day after 6-8 weeks, then by 0.5 mg/kg/day every 4 weeks; not to exceed 2.5 mg/kg/day
Indication: Juvenile Idiopathic Arthritis
Age: Juvenile
Condition: Maintenance
Dose: Oral – Reduce daily dose by 0.5 mg/kg
Duration: every 4 weeks
Note: by mouth (oral); until the lowest effective dosage is reached
