Adult Dose

Clinical InformationAdministration Information
Indication: Glabellar lines
Dose: Injection – 20 units
Frequency: once
Duration: approximately 3-4 months
Note: Inject 4 units (0.1 mL) into each of 5 sites, 2 in each corrugator muscle and 1 in procerus muscle. More frequent dosing not recommended.
Indication: Canthal lines
Dose: Injection – 24 units (0.6 mL)
Frequency: once
Duration: approximately 3-4 months
Note: Inject 4 units (0.1 mL) into 3 sites per side (6 total injection points) in the lateral orbicularis oculi muscle (12 units per side). More frequent dosing not recommended.

Child Dose

Clinical InformationAdministration Information
Indication: Blepharospasm
Age: greater than or equal to 12 years
Dose: Intramuscular Injection – 1.25-2.5 units
Frequency: May increase dose 2-fold if response to initial treatment dose does not last longer than 2 months
Little benefit obtained from injecting greater than 5 units per site
Note: less than 200 units in 30 days
Indication: Strabismus
Age: greater than or equal to 12 years
Dose: Intramuscular Injection – 1.25-5 units
Note: less than 25 units per injection
