Adult Dose

Indication: Bladder cancer
Age: Adult
Dose: Intravesical – Up to 60 mg instilled in 30-60 mL of sterile water or sodium chloride 0.9%
Frequency: once a week
Duration: up to 4 weeks
Note: Instilled into the bladder of patient previously dehydrated for 8-12 hours and retained for 2 hours. Reposition patient every 15 minutes for maximum area contact.
Indication: Prophylaxis of recurrence after surgical removal of bladder cancer
Age: Adult
Dose: Intravesical – Up to 60 mg
Frequency: at intervals of 1-2 weeks
Duration: up to 8 instillations

Child Dose

Indication: Class 3 beta-thalassemia before allogeneic hematopoietic stem cell transplantation
Age: Pediatric
Dose: Intravenous – 5 mg/kg
Frequency: Two administrations approximately 12 hours apart
Duration: on Day -6 before transplantation
