Adult Dose

Indication: Oral Fungal infections
Age: Adult
Dose: Oral – 200 mg
Frequency: once daily
Note: may increase to 400 mg once daily if clinical response is insufficient. Continue treatment until symptoms have cleared and cultures have become negative.
Indication: Chronic vag candidiasis
Age: Adult
Dose: Oral – 400 mg
Frequency: once daily
Duration: 5 days

Child Dose

Indication: Fungal infections
Age: Child: greater than 2 years
Dose: Oral – 3.3-6.6 mg/kg/day
Frequency: once daily
Note: Treatment duration: 1-2 weeks for candidiasis
Indication: Recalcitrant dermatophyte infections
Age: Child: greater than 2 years
Dose: Oral – 3.3-6.6 mg/kg/day
Frequency: once daily
Duration: at least 4 weeks

Renal Dose

Note: Renal impairment: No dosage adjustment needed.
