Adult Dose

Indication: Inflammation
Age: Adult
Condition: Eye
Dose: Eye drops – 1 or 2 drops in the conjunctival sac
Frequency: four to six times daily
Note: The usual dose of dexamethasone eye drops. Wait at least 15 minutes after each dose before wearing contact lenses.
Indication: Severe or acute inflammation
Age: Adult
Condition: Eye
Dose: Eye drops – 1 or 2 drops in the conjunctival sac
Frequency: every 30 to 60 minutes
Note: Initial therapy. Reduce the dosage when a favourable response is observed to every two to four hours.

Child Dose

Clinical InformationAdministration Information
Indication: Symptomatic treatment of severe allergic and inflammatory reactions
Age: Child
Dose: Tablet – 0.02 to 0.3 mg/kg/day
Frequency: Divided and taken 3 or 4 times a day
Note: By mouth (oral). Max Dose: 16 mg once daily
