Adult Dose

Indication: Type 2 diabetes mellitus
Age: Adult
Condition: Insulin-naïve
Dose: Subcutaneous Injection – 10 units
Frequency: once daily
Note: Recommended daily starting dose followed by individual dosage adjustments; can be administered at any time of the day, preferably at the same time every day. Can be administered alone or in any combination with oral anti-diabetic medicinal products, GLP-1 receptor agonists and bolus insulin.
Indication: Type 1 diabetes mellitus
Age: Adult
Condition: Insulin-naïve
Dose: Subcutaneous Injection – One third to one half of the total daily insulin dose (0.2-0.4 units/kg can be used to calculate initial total daily insulin dose)
Frequency: once daily
Note: Must be combined with short-/rapid-acting meal-time insulin to cover mealtime insulin requirements; requires subsequent individual dosage adjustments. Preferably administered at the same time every day.
