Adult Dose

Indication: Schizophrenia
Condition: Day 1
Dose: Oral – 1 mg
Frequency: twice daily
Note: Increase daily to effective dose of 6-12 mg by mouth twice daily. Must gradually increase dose to avoid orthostatic hypotension. Hepatic impairment Mild: No dosage adjustment required. Moderate: Caution advised. Severe: Use not recommended.
