Dose: Rinse or gargle – 15 ml of a 0.15% solution Frequency: every 1.5 to 3 hours Duration: until remission of pain Note: diluted with water if stinging occurs |

Indication: Radiation-Associated Mucositis |
Dose: Gargle or rinse – 15 mL Frequency: 3-4 times per day Note: Gargle or rinse in mouth for 30 seconds, followed by expulsion from mouth. Begin treatment 1 day prior to radiation therapy and continue daily during treatment |
