Adult Dose

Indication: Symptomatic relief of tension, anxiety and agitation
Age: Adult
Dose: Oral – 6 to 18 mg
Frequency: in equally divided doses
Note: Recommended initial adult daily dosage depending on the severity of symptoms and response of the patient; treatment should be initiated by lower doses and adjusted as necessary; maximum recommended dose is 60 mg daily; overall treatment should not be more than 2 – 4 weeks, followed by a tapering-off process of up to 6 – 8 weeks
