For topical use only; not for oral, ophthalmic, or intravaginal administration. Apply abametapir lotion to completely dry hair and scalp in a quantity sufficient to thoroughly coat all areas, using up to one full bottle if necessary. Shake the container well immediately before use. Massage the medication into the scalp and throughout the hair, leaving it in place for 10 minutes before rinsing thoroughly with warm water. Hands must be washed after application. This treatment is indicated as a single application for adults and pediatric patients aged 6 months and older; it is not recommended for infants under 6 months due to the risk of benzyl alcohol toxicity. Discard any unused portion and avoid contact with eyes. Hair may be shampooed at any time following the treatment.
