Administration

Administer one combination tablet containing 180 mg bempedoic acid and 10 mg ezetimibe orally once daily, either with or without food. The tablet must be swallowed whole and should not be crushed, cut, or chewed. If co-administered with bile acid sequestrants, this medication should be taken at least 2 hours before or at least 4 hours after the sequestrant. No dosage adjustment is necessary for patients with mild to moderate renal or hepatic impairment, though use in severe hepatic impairment is not recommended. Safety and efficacy have not been established in pediatric patients under 18 years of age. Periodic monitoring of serum uric acid and liver enzymes is advised.
