Administer this triple-chamber parenteral nutrition emulsion exclusively via intravenous infusion into a central vein. Before administration, the vertical peel seals between the chambers must be broken by rolling the bag, and the contents mixed thoroughly by inverting the bag three times. The infusion rate should be individualized, generally not exceeding 2.6 ml/kg/hour for adults, typically administered over 12 to 24 hours. For pediatric patients aged 2 to 11 years, the rate should not exceed 2.4 ml/kg/hour. Monitor serum triglycerides, glucose, electrolytes, and liver function throughout therapy. Dosage adjustments are required for patients with renal or hepatic impairment, and use is contraindicated in patients with severe liver insufficiency or hypersensitivity to egg, soya, or peanut proteins. Protect from light when used in neonates and children under 2 years of age.
