Adult Dose

Indication: Acute Nonlymphocytic Leukemia
Age: less than 60 years old
Condition: First course
Dose: Intravenous push – 45 mg/m²
Frequency: Days 1, 2, 3
Note: In combination with cytarabine 100 mg/m²/day intravenous for 7 days
Indication: Acute Nonlymphocytic Leukemia
Age: less than 60 years old
Condition: Subsequent courses
Dose: Intravenous push – 45 mg/m²
Frequency: Days 1, 2
Note: In combination with cytarabine 100 mg/m²/day intravenous for 5 days

Child Dose

Dose: Intravenous push – 1 mg/kg
Frequency: every week
Indication: Acute Nonlymphocytic Leukemia
Age: greater than 2 years old
Dose: Intravenous push – 25 mg/m²
Frequency: every week

Renal Dose

Condition: Renal Impairment greater than 3 mg/dL serum creatinine
Dose: Administer 50% regular dose

Storage
Store unopened vials in the refrigerator, 2°-8°C. Contains no preservatives. Discard unused portions. Protect from light. If Daunorubicin contacts the skin or mucosae, the area should be washed thoroughly with soap and water. Procedures for proper handling and disposal of anticancer drugs should be considered.
