Frequency: once daily

Child Dose

Condition: Severe
Dose: Oral – 4-6 mg/kg/day
Frequency: three times daily
Note: Expressed in terms of elemental iron
Indication: Iron-deficiency anaemia

Condition: Mild to moderate
Dose: Oral – 3 mg/kg/day
Frequency: once daily or twice daily
Note: Expressed in terms of elemental iron

  • Take on empty stomach
  • Can take with food if stomach upset occurs
